CHDA ASSESSMENT UPDATE

Morning All
Just a quick update, a lady from the assessment centre, said that, the DWP have to refer you, for an assessment. And there was no referral at present, for myself, even though It was due this month. The DWP advisor, did say, we don't know when the assessment centre, will have the capacity again, to continue with reviews.
Thanks for your Patience, I get extremely anxious.

Yes they have been suspended for quite some time. Still no news on when they will resume with the reviews. Nothing more anyone can do.

I know I should just be patient, but my GAD gets the better of me, and difficult to concentrate on anything else. Think Im just more nervous about coming out of the blue. Being told they are suspended, and then a week later, it happens.

I'm waiting for therapy, so hopefully that will help.

Thanks for the update @em444, I can understand why it has made you worried and anxious. Hopefully it doesn't come out of the blue.

Is there anything you can do to help yourself to relax a bit? What are your hobbies and interests?

when I say when I say you aren’t alone I mean you aren’t alone in worrying as you will see my last few threads on here, sorry to jump on but evidence wise when it does come to my review, I’m worrying because I’m currently under the CMHT but, as we know they are snowed under and seems they only keep you under their view for however long before discharging. So if I’m the next 6 months I’m no longer in their books but still struggling health wise which I will be because…. BPD and depression haven’t left me in 13 years…. What do I do? For evidence to back my case so to speak.

@jamrumples you don’t need medical evidence. Just your own real world examples of what happened the last time you attempted that activity.
For my last review in 2020 I had no medical evidence. My form was real world incidents and from that I had a paper based assessment.

Social Anxiety is terrible
Covid made me relapse, and Im scared to death of going out, unless its abs Emergency. Then I cant go out alone. Sleep Apnea, Im excessively tired Sleep most of day, and fall to sleep during conversation
