You’ll be entitled to the second payment of £324. If you claim PIP you will get £150 from the 20th September.

Having an award of Universal Credit entitles you (provided it isn’t a nil award with the exception of deductions). As for the PIP you won’t be entitled for the extra £150 as you claimed after the cut off date (25th May)
So you will get the second payment in the autumn.0 -
Thanks I don’t think I will get then because my payment statement reads like this
universal credit£334
LWCRA £354.28
Estimated ESA monthly payment £509.60
£689.19 awarded minus £509.60 other benefit income
total monthly payment £127.94
so I am not sure if I get UC
so confused does this mean I will still get the cost of living payment
many thanks

Also forgot to say the ESA is contributions support group paid every 2 weeks and the £127.94 which is LWCRA paid monthly0

The criteria for the 2nd payment hasn't been announced yet. However, providing you receive a payment (regardless of how much that is) then you should be entitled to the £324. The fact that your ESA is deducted from your UC will make no difference to the CoL payment.Northfleet66 said:I have made a claim for PIP back in June if I get this will I get the £150 backdated
Even if you're awarded PIP, you will not be entitled to the £150. You must have received a payment (or later receive a payment) of one of these qualifying benefits for 25 May 2022 to get the payment. Your claim started in June, which was after the eligibility date.
