Wife applying for new job. Will that affect UC?

My wife works 18hrs a week but got offered a new job 15 hrs will that affect uc, we have 2 children and and I get pip and lcwra, I read somewhere you have to earn so much

I note from a previous thread that your wife was claiming carers element. If she still claims this for looking after you then reducing her working hours will not affect your UC in a bad way. She has no work commitments as a carer.0

No she doesn’t have to earn over a certain amount because she’s your carer. You’re exempt from the benefit cap because you claim PIP.0
