I’ve won my appeal and I’ve been awarded daily living and mobility at standard rate and it is being backdated to 1st June 2021 how long in everyone’s experience of this have they waited?

It sounds really tough @leonashleymillar. I can hear the stress, anxiety, costs, shaking and feeling like you'd done wrong.
How are you at the moment? I hope you are ok but if we can do anything to help please don't hesitate to reach out to us0 -
It has taken quite a while to get an sdp backdated award but i haven't actually received any payment yet and been waiting just over a month now... i have been awarded a backdated claim from 18/1/2019 to 23/9/2021 so it is quite a substantial payment (£8000-£9000) if my calculations are correct...maybe because of the amount is the reason i've not been given a payment yet?0

It won't generally be down to the amount. Usually, these sorts of back payments can take longer for many other reasons. You will be in a queue for the payments team to calculate and authorise your payment, send a letter to you and set up future payments. Give it up to 8 weeks.0
