hi I hi I was awarded lcwra September 2022
but I’ve first handed a sick note in may 2021
I was wondering will I get backdated from my first sick note or from the time I had my assessment over the phone because I gad the first letter in my journal 2 days after the assessment saying I was awarded it

I really hope this is not your phone number if it is may I suggest you change your user name as this is a public forum.
I'm sorry I can't anyour question but I'm sure one of the fab forum members will do soon.0 -
Your username appears to be a mobile number. It's against the rules to give personal information here on the forum to protect yourself and others. I reported your post to the scope team who will edit your username when they see it. Please remember that it's a public forum and anyone can see the information you post and not just members.Without knowing the exact date you reported your health condition and what date you usually receive payment each month it's not possible to tell you exactly what it's paid from. From the limited information then it will be from either September/October 2021. There's a full 3 month waiting period and the extra money is paid from the 4th month of your claim.Assuming that this was your first WCA and you're not claiming UC with a partner that already receives the LCWRA element on your claim.0

Well I got m first sick note 05/05/21
we. I was only on uc I didn’t have my assessment till sep 2021 I gt paid the 15th of every month so ca any one help me out0 -
That means your waiting period will be June/July, July/Aug, Aug/Sept.. LCWRA starts from 9th Sept to 8th Oct and first payment would be 15th Oct 2021.It often takes a few weeks to pay what they owe you and it will be paid separately to your usual monthly amount. They first have to recalculate your past statements to work out what you should have been paid against what you've already been paid. You will then receive the difference between the two.You may want to take screeenshots of your current statements because once they are recalculated they will replace your exisiting ones.Once this is done you'll receive a letter on your journal telling you how much they owe and it will be paid into your bank.0

Hi @mparThOP
I've used a random generator to make you a new username for the time being. I've sent you an email from community@scope.org.uk so that you can customise it to something more personal. I hope that all makes sense!
