Can this be muscle

Hello everyone just joined this site and desperate to hear some opinions on my problem, Christmas I fell and broke my shoulder and had to have a reverse complete shoulder replacement, but 6 months on I just got up one morning and could hardly walk with pain in my upper back was every step I took was excruciating, so my husband got an osteopath to come to me and after examining me said he was sure it was muscle due to trauma and all the physio i have done for my shoulder, I know how painful muscle can be but struggling with this excruciating pain is just muscle , I've had xray and didn't show anything with the bones except osteopenic which I think means density, also been to doctors and they said the same about muscle but this has been 4 months now and very painful to sit , stand or walk without screaming in pain ,painkillers are only just taking the edge off a bit enough to try and have a wash or a gentle walk round the block but some days the painkillers don't touch the pain ,so I've been referred to msk so will see , for the past 2 months it's my lower back all the way across the bottom the upper back has got better but still aches, so painful to walk or sit and especially getting up off a chair, so not sure what this could be being I hadn't done anything to cause it just woke up like it 4 months ago and just won't get better.

I hope they get to the bottom of it at the appointment.
Good luck, hope you’re feeling better soon.1 -
That sounds horrible @jackieann3
I'm sorry that you haven't been able to find a solution to your pain as of yet. That being said, it sounds like you're on the right path to finding out what might be causing the pain, and therefore hopefully how to treat it.
Have they been able to offer you any more effective pain management treatments in the meantime?

Thank you ,yes the doctor prescribed naproxin but didn't do any good so I went back to taking ibuprofen and paracetamol now I'm taking nuromol which is exactly the same but in one tablet, they only take the edge off but not all the time ,its movement when it's at its worst its so painful x0

Hi @jackieann3
Sorry that I missed your previous reply.
That sounds good! Fingers crossed it'll help to take the edge off at least. How are you feeling this morning?0 -

No problem @jackieann3
I hope that the side effects fade for you soon. You should of course speak to your doctor or pharmacist if you're worried about the side effects you're experiencing.
