Due to her majesty's funeral on the 19th, anyone that gets any benefits due to be paid on that date, is it still normal or earlier, as there's nothing on the dwp website,? Thank you.

Will be Friday this week. Nothing will be showing yet as the Bank Holiday was only announced on Saturday when DWP don’t work as usual.

Usually payments are received on the last working day before a bank holiday. As this bank holiday has only recently been announced, i don't think there's been any confirmation on whether payment would be early. For payment to be Friday, they would need to change the date on when payments are sent. Whether they can acheive this, i really don't know.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help. -

I suspect that payments won't be made early, as they are for planned bank holidays, but you never know.2024 The year of the general election...the time for change is coming 💡
