ADHD...coping with inner chatter and distraction

The Light & the Rhythm.

Thoughts enter, doubt and pain unite them…in a flash, I am plunged into judgement.

They’re here in my mind like a storm on the horizon beckoning my attention, teasing and toying with my vulnerability, crushing my ego into dust.

Suddenly I’m exposed, a child, lost and bearing my soul desperately Searching for strength and comfort.

Suddenly, a shaft of brilliant light breaks through, piercing my mind like a searing blade.

The light soothes and calms…composing the rhythm of a song…a song I remember.

Now I remember…clear, confident, and positive, good thoughts enter my mind…carried by the rhythm of the song.

Yes, I remember…

Thank you for the song/rhythm.

I am already enough
