Confused by PIP award letter

Hi, I'm new to the forum and hope someone can help me, I don't have much experience of the disability benefits system. I have just been awarded PIP and in the confirmation letter it says I have been awarded it for a set time "as your right to stay in the United Kingdom is limited".  I'm assuming this is just a typo because I'm British and have lived here my whole life.  I tried to ring them on a few occasions but it's been impossible to get through. I'm wondering if they use a standard letter and have just chosen the wrong option from a drop down list.  Do you think it's something that I need to get changed or is it a common error that I don't need to worry about?

I’d definitely phone tomorrow bang on 9am 0800 121 4433. This is quite possibly a typo but better safe than sorry after all.

Thank you, I stuck with it and eventually got through after an hour and a half wait.  It seems it was an error and and there was another mistake too which needs to be looked at, it's being sent back to be reviewed.  They said there was no problem with the decision to award PIP or the amount, but the time it's awarded for was wrong as well as the reason for the time limit.  I suspect it's going to be shorter as I'm on a waiting list to see if surgery might help me, just hoping it's not so short that I have to go through all this again in 6 months if there's no treatment or improvement after all.

I'm sorry to hear about this admin error @Sunnydaze it sounds like it's really messing you around?

I'm glad you were able to get through and speak to someone though, that's often a battle in itself. I hope it gets resolved quickly for you.
