It's a cost of living payment.

Ok thanks I wasn't expecting it on the 20th, I thought it would be late because of the bank holiday. It does say most people won't get in until end of the month, so I was surprised.
-
Payments will be made from 20th September.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

Just to let people aware even if you receive the payment tomorrow it may not go in until the afternoon or later, that applies to benefit payments also, it's due to the sudden bank holiday and no chance to prepare for payments.
-
This payment was planned for a while so although what you are saying about later payments is correct, not everyone will get paid tomorrow. It’s also paid by the Government which is separate to DWP normal payments.
-
I am only going by information released by the government. It them that are saying payments tomorrow will be late. I'm not just talking about cost of living payments. All benefit payments. DWP posting it all over Twitter. All payments on Tuesday and Wednesday this week. I get ESA on Wednesday so I may be effected.

Hi my PIP got stopped on the 15th August but I had it since 2015 does that mean I will still receive this payment? Thanks
-
@DD91 You should do.

It's been showing as a pending payment since Saturday(it could have been Friday never checked). Some people who have internet banking can see incoming payments that have not been fully processed, that's why it called a pending payment. I won't receive the money till tomorrow. It depends on the bank and the account you have whether these will even show up.
-
Do you reckon everyone will receive it tomorrow
-
I doubt everyone will get it the same day which is why they have said it will be paid from 20th to end of month
-
According to the government DWP payments will be paid first and then Ministry of Defence claimants will be paid after(to prevent double payments) That's why it gonna take till October. I think most DWP claims will probably get it this week but that's just my opinion. There are less people claiming this COL payment than the one in July.

Woke up today and never received the payment yet lol

My PIP payment went but no COL at £150.
Does everyone that gets PIP receive this payment. I have been on PIP since 2016 and just recently sent away my award review form.
I was not entitled to the previous COL payments.Knowing When to walk away is Wisdom, being able is courage, walking away with your head held high is dignity. -
You will receive the £150 @Binky1234

@bg844 thank you I just thought it would have went in with today's PIP payment if I was entitled to it.
Thank you for letting me know that I will get it.Knowing When to walk away is Wisdom, being able is courage, walking away with your head held high is dignity.
