Remaining politically neutral during General Election 2024


Under guidance from the Electoral Commission and Charity Commission, it's important that Scope remains politically neutral during General Elections.

While we understand that this period will see many passionate discussions and do not want to discourage open discussion, we cannot allow discussions which are purely intended to influence voting.

PIP back payment. How long does it take?

Hi,
I was called last Wednesday and told I had been awarded PIP and that I was owed a large sum of money, I thought it would be today It cleared in the bank, but still has not.
how long did everyone else’s back payment take? And did you recieve the letter first?

    Bear in mind that yesterday was a bank holiday.
    Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Rules may be different in other parts of UK.

    That those who are due a payment on 20th or 21st will receive their money sometime throughout the day. There's no need to ring them.
    I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
    If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

    The phone call i had said same thing to me a large sum. How large was yours if you dont mind me asking? I cant think how much im getting stressing me out

    This thread is from Septemeber last year and the member hasn't been active since then so you may not get a reply.
    If you want to know what you've been awarded you can ring PIP on Monday when they open, they will also tell you how much is going into your bank and when to expect it, if you ask them.
