Muscle spasms on one side of body?

I wonder if anyone can shine a little light on something I’ve been going through for a few weeks now.
The only way I can describe it was a muscle spasm that started from my right foot, up my leg and right arm. I can’t recall ever feeling so much pain. I’ve since had a couple of other episodes, the last 111 was called and was taken into A & E.
I went through a battery of tests, blood, CT scan, blood pressure taken, nothing showed (Thankful of course) but am unsure what it could be?
I’m now waiting on an MRI scan but unsure how long this will be.
If there is anyone out there who has been through similar, please share. Fingers crossed I will be looked at soon 🤞

That sounds like a very scary thing to experience @CoffeeFirst how are you feeling at the moment?
I've not experienced anything like you've described myself, I do get some spasms in my legs when I'm tired, due to my CP, nothing too painful.
Hopefully an MRI can help shed some light on things. Did they have any ideas while you were undergoing tests?
Keep us up to date with how things go, and hopefully you'll get some answers soon1 -
@Alex_Scope; they reassured me that it wasn’t a stroke, obviously I was relieved to hear this. Unfortunately I’ve had another episode so I’m waiting on the MRI scan more than ever. I’ve been Googling but with caution. Thanks for replying I’ll keep you posted.1

It sounds really positive to hear they reassured you that it wasn't a stroke @CoffeeFirst. I can hear how that would provide you with relief.
It sounds really difficult that you have had another episode though. How are you feeling at the moment? Good luck with the MRI scan. Please feel free to let us know how it goes.
If we can do anything to support you in the meantime please don't hesitate to let us know. We are all here for you and listening to you1 -
@L_Volunteer; I’ve been ok so far and feel quite well in myself. I didn’t think it was a stroke but there’s that nagging fear in the back of your head that makes you doubts things. I’m just pleased it was confirmed that it certainly wasn’t. Not sure how long I’ll have to wait for the scan but keeping occupied until then. Thanks for the support, it means the world 😀0

Meant to add; If there’s anyone else going or gone through anything similar, please share.
