I have osteoarthritis in both knees and bad back pain. I prescribe zappain tablets and morphine. I can at times reduce my pain but I just have no energy. The pain in back in back after morphine is like someone sit on your lower back difficult to explain. I go ask doctor in October for anti inflammatory drug as I hoping I won't feel so tight and stiff. People say to me you on morphine etc you should be up and about but it's not like that . My mobility get worse than better . I work part time but that leaves me just exhausted and in pain. How do you get that energy and increase mobility when having pain relief. I appreciate any advice from you. Thank you

Thanks for sharing a little about what you are going through at the moment @painfree. I can hear that, although you experience pain, no energy seems to be the main difficulty.

Are you able to speak to your employer about things that might help you to work with less exhaustion and pain? They are there to work things through with you.

Other than that, it would be about identifying your main triggers. Once you are able to identify your main triggers, you are able to reduce their implications.

If we can do anything else to support you please don't hesitate to let us know. We are all here for you and listening to you  :)

My employer put me on a written warning so things are not good. I try to not take to much morphine before work but I think it's the pain making me down . Today my back gone into spasms a few times. I have a appointment with my doctor in October so will go from there . I just miss not doing anything. I go to work part time then spend my home time laying down and sleeping sometimes 14 hrs at a time.
