Was just wandering not sure as im sure getting somewhere to live wouldnt be easy as i no applying for council housing in manchester they prefer you to have been living in the council area for upto 2 years.

2 years!! In my area people are on the housing list for 10+ years and still are waiting.

THats not what i meant you wont even be put on the housing list at all if you havent lived in the area for atleast two years

I think the rules for most areas is you need to have a local connection to the area or need to have lived there for x amount of years. You can look at privately renting but if you're relying on benefits to help with the rent then this won't be easy to find a landlord that will accept you.
