Welcome to the community @lizzie8 :) Thank you for joining us, and for sharing a but about the challenges you're currently facing.

Are you receiving any treatment to help with your muscle tension dysphonia? I read on the NHS website that things like speech and language therapy can help, as well as working out what the root causes of the issue are.

In the meantime, are there other, less customer facing jobs you could pick up at your current place of work? Such as sorting stock, heating the sandwiches, cleaning, and so on.

I'd encourage you to speak to your line manager about this if you haven't already. Is that something you'd feel comfortable doing?
