With over 1 million deaths in 2022, the pandemic remains an emergency globally and within most countries. "The COVID-19 summer wave, driven by Omicron BA.4 and BA.5, showed that the pandemic is not yet over as the virus continues to circulate in Europe and beyond," a European Commission spokesperson said.

It seems as covid has been pushed to the back burner by the government. So be intresting to see in 2023 -
It will rise again I have no doubt as peoole no longer take the precautions
My bf currently has it after escaping it all this time and his son as well and they have been quite ill -
Scary numbers and with main symptoms changing and having to pay for tests I'm sure most people won't be testing so a lot of people walking around thinking they just have a cold.
