Hi @ciara0682 - & welcome to the community. Please try not to worry as paper based assessments for PIP are usually successful.

I just found it strange no assessment being done don't get me wrong I'm feeling relieved on that I hate talking to ppl Ftf even talking on the phone I get so anxious and stumble all I was asked in a call that littlery took 1 min was to confirm 2 things then a 2nd call 1 min to ask about my meds just have never heard of a paper based assessment0

Paper based assessments are comparatively rare, but do happen, & are usually successful.0

@chiarieds is correct, they are rare but definitely possible. Sometimes before writing the report they will ring to ask some questions, as they did with you. Your whole timescale has been exceptionally quick up to now.Once the report is returned to DWP a decision can take between 2-12 weeks. Once it's made if you're not happy you can challenge that decision by requesting the Mandatory Reconsideration.0

Thank you for the info fingers crossed it's a successful outcome I will keep you posted on my decision 😘2

I should also note that I'm based in northern Ireland don't know if that's anything to do with the time scale of things I'm not sure0

Call capita today to be told my pip claim has been passed to audit I don't understand what this means does it mean iv not qualified0

It’s nothing at all to worry about. It just means they are checking the assessor did their job correctly. There’s no timescales how long the report will remain in the audit. Once it’s completed it will be returned to DWP. Once it’s returned a decision will take 2-12 weeks.0
