Hi im new here, not quite sure how this works but I'm going to give it ago.
I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia about 4 to 5 years ago. I was told there wasn't much to be done about it. I've had some serious struggles with that if it wasn't for my husband and children I probably wouldn't eat sometimes due to not been able to get out of bed let alone prepare anything. Anyway I was recently told by a friend that I should be getting pip I didn't know this and would like to know if anyone has Fibromyalgia and been successful with their claim

Wether or not you should be getting PIP completely depends on if you meet the criteria. Many with Fibromyalgia do get accepted however it isn’t the condition that you have, it’s about daily living and mobility needs.See these links to explain each activity:
https://pipinfo.net/
https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/Global/Migrated_Documents/adviceguide/pip-9-table-of-activities-descriptors-and-points.pdf

You require 8 points to gain a standard award and 12 points for an enhanced for both DL and Mobility activities.2 -
Welcome to the community @Goldenchoice
As poppy123456 has explained, it's not awarded based on your diagnosis. Perhaps you could take a look at the descriptors, and let us know what you think?
It sounds as though your husband and children are a great source of support for you- is that right?1
