I was awarded the basic pip back in March this year in the last 6 months my disability has become far worse than it was with more added complications how do I go about getting a new review or should I wait till I have had all my next set of operations and procedures

If you want report a change you simply need to ring PIP. This will start a completely new assessment review. You will be sent a new health questionnaire to complete and return and will likely have a new assessment appointment following which a new PIP decision will be made on your whole award. The award could be lower than your existing award. Before reporting a change you should review whether the changes you have experienced could result in additional points when you are scored and if so are these enough points to increase your PIP award, there is no point reporting a change if it is unlikely to result in an increased award. You therefore need to understand the scoring system and/or seek advice.

If you are expecting treatment that will alleviate you new problems then these may not count towards PIP anyway. You need to have had the problems for three months and expect them to continue for another nine months for them to be taken into account.0
