PIP Email

I was wondering if PIP have an email address, I am trying to find out when my claim comes to an end due to my mobility car being up for renewal in February but have spent literally hours every day trying to get through to them.....unfortuanetly i have mislaid my original letter with the date on

Hi @Shelbysmum - & welcome to this community. I don't believe there is an email address regarding PIP, so unfortunately you may have to persist with trying phoning again. Try ringing first thing in the morning, & ask them when your claim may end. Before it's due to end you should be contacted by the DWP, but better to get some info now (tho the PIP query line is just call workers, so difficult to know if you may receive the correct advice).

You can try this Correspondence@dwp.gov.uk but it’s not the most reliable way of contacting them because they don’t always reply.
The best way is to ring them as soon as they open at 9am. Though even then you could be waiting about an hour for them to answer.

It might be easier to have another look for the original letter!

I wonder if Motability keep a record of the claim end date on file?  Maybe even a scan of the letter you took last time?  If it's easier to get through to them, there's no harm in asking.

(Edit - Worth noting a 3 year old letter may not have the correct end date if you've had a Covid extension since.)

A copy of the PIP award will be needed anyway if an order is going to be placed for another motability vehicle. You need at least 12 months remaining to place the order.
