@Tiggs007 Good morning and a warm welcome to our online community. I'm glad you found us and I hope we can support you with information around retiring on the grounds of ill health.
Is there anything specific you need clarity around? Here's a link to Scope's general advice around Stopping work and ill health but please do fire away with your own circumstances if it would help.
Take care and I hope this Thursday is a good one for you.
Just to add: I've tweaked the title of your thread and moved it to our Employment category to help our other members spot it and reply0 -
Hi and welcome to the community
It would help if you could tell us what it is you want to know and a bit more about your situation eg age , type of work , have you been off sick from work , medical condition etc0 -

Hi again
Ill health retirement is hard to get have a look at your pension provider details
You need to evidence you are no longer fit to work in any capacity for rest of working age
Medical dismissal could be alternative option sed your company policy relating to this some companies pay compensation tho it isn't a legal requirement
If you have been off sick and had your 28 weeks ssp you maybe entitled to new style esa if you have paid enough ni in the previous 2 tax years
This isn't a means tested benefit
Uc I'd another benefit but Is means tested so depends on your circumstances
As b4 do a benefits calculator as if you have no income as an example
