They very often don't respond by the deadline. If they don't then HMCTS will extend the deadline. If they don't respond your hearing will continue as normal.
Waiting times for hearings could potentially be several months.

I got refused, Asked for a Mandatory Reconsideration as I thought the assessor got the majority of the assessment wrong, I then got given 2 points, I have a Tribunal tomorrow, They do tend to reply in time, It’s just a long wait for a Tribunal hearing, Well it was for me, I guess it depends which area you live in.

Hello, The Tribunal went well, I attended in good time, It wasn’t as scary as I thought, It lasted around 1 Hour and I got Awarded Enhanced Daily Living and Enhanced Mobility for 5 years, They told me I will get a copy of the Decision in the post in a few days, So happy that it is all over with, it’s been a long 2 years, Thank you all :)

I wasn’t going to attend the Tribunal after only receiving 2 points on the assessment, I’m glad I attended now The Doctor actually understood my problems and the DWP Representative who attended also has the same disability as me, I’d advise anyone who got refused to Attend there is hope and you haven’t got anything to lose, I’m just glad it’s done, No more worrying ☺️

    Great happy you won.
My tribunal is Monday and I am so anxious and just keep having horrible feelings that they will just say no or laugh at me. Silly I know but I am trying not to panic.

Good luck, They will not Laugh at you, I thought the same they will say No as I attended Scoring 0 points on my Assessment, The Tribunal panel in my case was lovely people and very understanding, They don’t ask you all the questions the assessment did, Only the relevant ones but in more detail, I’m still surprised, it’s nice to know some people actually listen. If you can take someone with you for support who knows how your condition effects you that will help.
