I had my assessment yesterday and before it started i was told someone else would be included in phone call to listen in the background can they do this and does anyone no why

@salty1212334 It does sound like a trainee listening in. How do you feel the assessment went overall? I hope it went as well as can be expected!

Hi it went ok only took 30 mins the only thing i noticed was she kept going quit for 30 secs to a minute i kept shouting hello as i thought it cut the call i think she was speaking to other person on call as there was a annoying noise like a echo then silence i could here her keyboard and echo then nothing i had to ask her to repeat herself multiple times as soon as i mentioned a health coach i see fortnightly she ended the call seemed to want to get information from my health coach

also another thing ive struggled with problems for the past 10 years the only reason i applied for pip was because of my health coach she told me to contact my doctor and i got diagnosed and repeat prescription if it wasn't for her i would not have done any of this i no pip does not go off diagnosis would my health coach helping be classed as being prompted as she prompted me to do all of this

It will depend what they prompt you with. Prompting you to apply for PIP makes no difference to any outcome and won't score you any additional points.

She prompted me to see my doctor and physio without her prompting me to get my health sorted i would have become very ill without my health coach prompted me i would not have got my hEDS diagnosed and my anemia sorted and vitamin d sorted i now have another blood test to see if vitamins are working and if any damage to my kidneys and liver have been caused from anemia when i had a blood test the blood doctor asked if i was on blood thinners because my blood was so thin i had not been to see my doctor since my mother passed away 5 years ago long time anemia can cause lots of problems and vitamin d deficiency can my health coach prompts me to go to all my appointments my mother used to prompt me would u say that is a correct assumption or am i wrong 

i assume this because as soon as i said i would not have sorted anything without my heath coach telling me to i would not have done anything i have she seemed more interested in my health coach then ended assessment i did leave capita assessor my health coaches number and details as she said i could

I'm glad you've had some support with all of that. Though those things you mention are not considered in any of the PIP descriptors.

Now the assessment is completed once the report is returned to DWP a decision can take 2-12 weeks.
