Yes, many many other people. For the Tribunal what you need to do is concentrate on where and why you think you should have scored those points. Include a couple of real world incidents of exactly what happened the last time you attempted each activity that applies to you. Adding detailed information such as where you were, what exactly happened, did anyone see it and what the consequences were. You can also get some expert advice from an agency near you. Thank you 😊 for your reply I am new to all this so don’t know how it all works really I have done my appeal online and included everything the assessor on the video call left out she didn’t put things I told her in the report so many lies0

You need to put to one side what was said or what wasn't said during the assessment and/or in the report. The assessment process isn't there for them to write what you said word for word, if it was there would be no point in having the assessment. It's for them to gather more evidence to support your claim. They then write the report which is their opinion based on everything you sent and what you said during the assessment. Concentrating on the report isn't going to get you a PIP award. What you need to do is concentrate on the weakness in your evidence.1

Check the discriptors to see which ones apply to you, if you don't get at least 8 points each on Mobility or Daily Living you won't be awarded anything. The PIP discriptors can be found online, if you do believe you'll get enough points then do what poppy said above.1

Thank you I have appealed so I’ll just wait and see what happens now0

Hi just a update I was advised to do a new claim by pip which I have just been awarded enhanced daily living and standard mobility when I have read through the report they have used my old report as evidence in the new claim and haven’t added the points to my mobility from the old report I now have a mr going on will they add these points to this please0

Sorry for the second post 🤦♀️ I have only asked for my mobility to be reconsidered not my daily living0

heya @colccxx and welcome back!
Sorry to hear you're being dragged through the ringer once more, it's never fun.
As far as I'm aware, they'll reconsider the whole claim, not individually.
Had you sent in any further evidence for the MR? If not they're just be going on the evidence you already have sent in for your new claim.1 -
Hi @colccxx - when you do a MR, even if you ask for just the mobility component to be looked at, another decision maker will look at your whole claim again. This shouldn't be a concern as it's very rare for anyone to get any part of their award lowered. Let's just hope they feel they could award you more points so you get an enhanced award for mobility.

Hi thank you 😊 yes I sent the evidence in to them with the points I got awarded before from the appeal in which I got turned down but they used that old report aswell as evidence they asked me which was strange to send proof that they had used my old report don’t know if that’s goodAlbus_Scope said:heya @colccxx and welcome back!
