Hello,
I've scoured every forum for advice.
I applied for PIP at start of January 2022, had my assessment in April - 44 weeks later still no decision and my condition continues to fluctuate and then deteriorate. I'm due in hospital again in 3 weeks, most concerning is the surgery I'm due to have could exacerbate my condition more and cause co-morbidity or even death....
Can any one help? Is this normal with the PIP process

Hi and welcome to the community
A pip decision usually takes between 2 to 12 weeks but can sometimes be longer
Have you called to chase it . Have you been notified.that the dwp have recieved your assessment report
I would be chasing if up if I was you0 -
Yes, I've rang several times...had assessment months ago. Sent in updated information and reports from my consultant, more to follow this week. They just say - 'It's with the case manager.' Quite appalled really0
