I applied on the 28th may and was awarded lcwra when I’m I entitled to back pay from I get uc monthly on the 8th

If the 28th May was the date you reported your health condition, supported by a fit note within 7 days of this and you continued to send the fit notes without any gaps then your waiting period will be.. June/July, July/Aug, Aug/Sept... LCWRA starts from assessment period 2nd Sept to 1st Oct and first payment will be 8th Oct. If you didn't receive the LCWRA element this month then they owe you 2 months.It often takes a few weeks to recalculate your past statements to work out exactly how much is owed. Once this is done you'll receive a letter on your journal. Money owed is paid separately to your usually monthly money.0

Just letting you know that I received a letter on my UC Journal about my Work capability assessment that I had on Thursday ( 5th January ) & I have been awarded LCWRA. I am not ashamed to admit that I cried through sheer relief.0 -
