To qualify for WFP you have to have been before 26th September 1956. Does that apply to you?
i note you say you previously got ESa including SDP. Have you checked entitlement to Pension Credit (which would also include SDP in the calculation if you still meet the qualifying conditions). You can't claim Pension Credit if you have a partner who is below pension age.0 -
Yes I qualify 23/09/1956. I was receiving from 1992 Severe Disablement Allowance, which migrated into ESA income related support group, till that ceased at Pension date September, 2022. In Receipt of Pip since July 2022. Am single.0

Sorry, I thought you meant SDP in your ESA rather than SDA prior to your ESA.
However if you live alone, receive Daily Living PIP and nobody claims Carer’s Allowance or the carer element of UC for looking after you then you are entitled to a Severe Disability Premium in the calculation of means tested benefits. Do all of those conditions apply? If so PC would top up your weekly income to £252/week if your income would otherwise be less than that.
Possibly you haven’t had the WFP letter yet because your SP claim has only recently been processed.1 -
Thanks for that.
I do receive both living and enhanced Pip.
I am single and my two adult sons are still at home both work full time don't have any UC or carer payments.0 -
