PIP payment

Hello.
I get mobility and living payment of PIP every month into my bank account on a Monday (I bank with monzo so usually can access it it on Friday at 4pm as it shows as pending)
I was expecting to see my benefit show as pending yesterday and be able to use the ‘get paid early’ feature however the amount hasn't shown up.
I called PIP and the automated system says my next payment date is the 5/12/22 however nothing is showing as pending in my account.
Is it normal for a payment to just not be sent? My claim doesn't finish until 2025 and there's never been an issues with payments so I'm slightly confused as to what's happening.
Thank you
Thank you

There are several threads on the same issue. Hopefully payment will appear on Monday. If not you can ring them.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Rules may be different in other parts of UK.

Welcome to the community @BenefitsB68
As calcotti has said, you're not the only one in this position. Quite a few people have posted about not having received their payment as expected. Fingers crossed it's just some kind of administration issue, and that it'll be sorted as soon as possible.
Will you be able to cope okay over the weekend? I know times are really tough at the moment. -
I think maybe they will send as faster payment otherwise we have to wait for ages!

Luckily have some plain pasta and kidney beans to keep me going

Your payment day isn't until Monday, although you can usually access it early. It maybe there on Monday, otherwise you can ring them.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help. -
sbabington29 said:This has happened to me too. Just praying they’ve sent it as Faster Payment for 1am Monday morning. If not I’ll be on the phone to them, they’ve said they’ve sent mine but it still hasn’t shown as paid early
If it was done as a fast payment this would mean it would be in your bank the same day payment was made.

Yeah I reckon they'll push it out on Monday as faster payment. So many have had this issue

sbabington29 said:So what’s happening then? Multiple people are having this problem and they’ve picked the complete wrong time of year to have technical problems. Is there any chance it’ll go in tomorrow night?

Try one hour waiting on the phone Monday to get through 😂
-
So they confirmed that the money had been sent?
I called but only got confirmation from the electronic automated telephone thing.
Couldn't get through to a real person lol -
Hahaha no show on Sunday morning 🌅

The system has obviously changed for this month due to people receiving the £10 Christmas bouns. Which is probably why your having trouble
