Hi, so happy to have found this forum! Delayed PIP Payment

My name is Socrates and when my PIP wasn’t paid into my bank today, I had a panic attack because I have direct debits going through and my bank is threatening to return them unpaid. It took me over 20 calls to PIP (all of which hung up on me after answering their automated questions!) and 40 minutes to discover this site on Google! Shame on them for not having an official site to post important info that I found straight away on this forum! Apparently something has gone awry at their end and now, finally, they have posted a message on their phone system saying they are looking into it!
Thank you for being there in my time of need!

They probably didn’t know anything about it until they got into work this morning. Computers aren’t perfect and do have issues sometimes.SPKonissis said:Shame on them for not having an official site to post important infoThere’s now an automated message on the helpline. In all honesty I think they acted as quickly as they could.0 -
Hello @SPKonissis
We've had a few newer members of the community today, in light of the delayed PIP Payments. I do hope you stay and join in the community. If you head over to Coffee Lounge, we talk a lot about our interests and hobbies.
Just to note, I've popped your post into our PIP, DLA & AA section. Just in case you have any other queries or questions
