Cb esa and pip

Hello I have been awarded both of these benefits and I’m concerned as I don’t know if one knows about the other surely this is done through my N.I , I assumed they just know ? Help I’m worried ?

    No, they don’t communicate. However it doesn’t matter if you get both

    It’s only important for ESA to know you get PIP when on income-related ESA. Just a quick question, have you ever checked entitlement to Universal Credit too?

    No I’m not entitled as my husbands earns and works too many hours

    It might still be worth a calculation as a common misconception with UC is that you’re not entitled if a partner earns, it should only take a few minutes and you can be sure you’re claiming everything you are entitled to:

    UC entitlement is not based on hours worked. It's based on earnings received during your assessment period.
