I just wanted to update everyone who may be asking this question as the ones I found when I was looking didn't really help they were out dated and just said up to 8 weeks.
As of Nov/Dec 2022 heres what they told me and whats happened. It can take up up 8 weeks yes but thats only if they're checking to see if there's an error in law. Once they've accepted the outcome (they accepted mine straight away) they then have 10 working days to issue the payment. Once they issue it, it takes 5 working days to get to your bank account. The day they issue it is day 1. They will also call you to check if you've been in hospital, prison, care home etc since you started your claim as this may effect the amount you are owed.
I hope this helps.
All of this info is from PIP case manager and also how its worked for me. Won my appeal middle November 2022
