There’s no new claims for Housing Benefit unless you meet the criteria:
-Of state pension age.
-Temporary, supported, sheltered accommodation.
You can however claim via UC if entitled. It may be worth doing a benefits calculation to see:

As Bg844 has correctly advised, unless you're either planning on living in either supported or temporary housing then you can't claim HB because it no longer exists for new claims for those of work age.You will be able to claim for help with your rent through your UC known as "housing element"When you move into your property you will need to log into your journal and "report a change of circumstances" tick where you live and report the changes. The housing element will then be added from the assessment period in which the changes were reported.0

Yes OP currently claims New style ESA and UC. I remember their previous threads with questions and confusion but oddly they don't seem to showing anymore.

So, as you claim UC, if you move you will need to Report a Change to your housing situation through your UC journal. The change will then be applied from the start of the UC assessment period in which the change occurs.Northfleet70 said:..how much my rent will be with the goat offered to ne0
