Hi hi just wondering if anyone has been in the situation where their PIP has been lowered for Mobility and their Blue Badge has not been extended because of this. I am appealing the DWP decision because this also means I have to come off of the Motability scheme and lose my Motabilty vehicle. I’ve been paying our £20 a day to park near my workplace so that the walking distance is shorter. I’m really struggling and the stress is just too much now. Does anyone have any help or advice on what to do in the interim because it’s looking like I’m going to get stuck at home again

You can apply for a blue badge without a PIP mobility award but you'll need to have an assessment and send evidence to support your claim. Have a look on your local Authorities website to see what the criteria is. Lots of people have a BB without a mobility award.
