Hi,
Received this text (below) after my review being delayed for about a year.
Does this mean PIP have looked at my claim and it's been passed on for an assessment or are IAS the people who look at all claims whether you need an assessment or not now?
Also, how long after receiving the text, how long did it take for you to next hear from them please?
"Hello from Independent Assessment Services. We conduct Personal Independence Payment (PIP) assessments for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). This is for information purposes only, to let you know that we are managing your PIP assessment. We will look at the available evidence and will contact you with an appointment if we need to have a consultation with you. You can find information about the service we provide at https://mypipassessment.co.uk. You do not need to contact us."

Most people have assessments, which can either be by telephone, video call or face to face at an assessment centre. If an assessment is needed you will be contacted.
