I applied for pip in august as I struggle with mental health and had to take time of work because of this and struggling financially didn’t help my mental health either

I send away my how my disability affects me form in October.. and yesterday received this message
We've received the written report of your PIP assessment. We will write to you once we've made a decision on your PIP. As a guide you should hear from us within 8 weeks. You don't need to contact us unless any of the details you gave us have changed. Thank you.

Today I rang and requested the report to be send out to me .. which is being done
I am wondering does this mean my decision is made ? And if I am awarded will I except the payment maybe before the letter?

The sending of the report doesn’t mean a decision has been taken. The decision can take up to 12 weeks after DWP received the report. When a decision is made you may receive a text when the decision is made. If you are given an award you will likely receive a payment before you receive the decision letter.0
