Hello , I was awarded LCWRA August 2021. ( Stated period 21 months )

Today I received a request from UC for a sick note. Surely my LCWRA which is an ongoing award, I don't need to send a sick notes until such time im reassessed ?

How would you respond to the request for the sick note?

Thank you

Send a message on the journal saying “As I was found to have LCWRA I understand that I am not required to provide Fit Notes. Before I approach my GP please advise why you are asking for a Fit Note,”

See if you can find the letter sent to you via the journal which told you that you had been awarded LCWRA. That letter should also state that you are no longer required to provide Fit Notes. You could refer to that letter.

I've had this request on my journal for about a year. I spoke to UC about it when I first got it and they said I don't have to send any sick notes as I'm in receipt of lcwra. Must just be an error. But to be safe I'd go with @calcotti advice 👍
