Hello I had my Pip telephone assessment yesterday was awful lady was very nice but I cried the whole time talking about my health and how much my life has changed, I felt ashamed saying my husband does cooking ,shopping aswel as looking after our little girl ,the whole thing was over in 20 mins ,so I think I ve failed it 😪
This morning I got text at 8am saying DWP had received my report already!! So that's very quick seen as assessment was only yesterday 🙄 so to me that's a bad sign .
It's just awful waiting to see if you will be believed I m desperate for financial support since leaving my full time job because of ill health.
Has anyone else had assessment this quick .

I'm sorry to hear that you got quite upset during your assessment. Many people experience the same, so you're not alone in reacting that way. It can be difficult to talk about quite personal things, especially to someone we don't know. There's also no shame in getting support from your husband with things like shopping and cooking. We all need varying levels of support from our loved ones. It sounds as though he's a positive presence in your life. Is that right?
Assessment times vary, and don't necessarily indicate whether or not your claim will be successful. It's also very normal for them to receive the report that quickly, so please try not to worry about this! Now they've received the report, it can take up to around 12 weeks to receive a decision.0 -

The assessment report is usually sent to DWP the same day, the assessor is writing while they do the assessment (which is why they often seem more focused on their typing than listening to the claimant).0 -
