Hello @mollysue10 and a warm welcome to the community.
I'll get to the second part first
The community is made up of people who are all 'connected' by disability. Whatever your own disability is, there are people here who have or have had the same or very similar conditions, people who are struggling or have struggled, people who can and do relate to others in similar circumstances. It is a place to come to in order to meet people who are going through similar things to yourself, who have been through them and come out the other side, so that you can chat to them, give to or receive support from them, listen to their advice or even offer advice and, at the same time, to have access to informed, sometimes specialist people, who can advise on things like benefits issues.
It's an extraordinarily friendly place, where people care and understand.
I hope that helps?
Please don't hesitate to get back to us if there is more you want to know and, in the meantime - when you are ready - tell us a bit more about the advice you are looking for and about anything else that matters to you.
We're here, listening, wanting to help.
Warmest best wishes to you,
Richard -
