You mention appeal, are you at Tribunal stage? If so then any extra evidence needs to be sent to HMCTS and not to DWP. You can send the assessment report for your WCA but please be aware they are 2 completely different benefits, with different criteria.

Thanks for your answer I am in the MR stage but when I asked for MR the man on the phone went through the whole assessment in 10 minutes was very rude wouldn't let me explain anything why I disagreed he sighed halfway through which I asked him why at the original assessment the HR when asked all she had was my questionnaire no medical evidence no xray results which was sent & received & as usual misinterpreted my answers & didn't ask some of the descriptors to put it mildly I said in questionnaire that I could walk 20/ 25 metres at best & she said that I could walk for 10 minutes & that I didn't put it in the form which I did there are a few discrepancies on her assessment & I know the MR will not be changed & am looking to get everything right in the appeal . thanks I will send the mental health report to the tribunal also the further medical evidence. I get iidb & that was at 30% but they have told me that the % has gone up but I am still waiting for the letter0

This comment would be better on the OP thread here, maybe a member of the scope team can join both threads together to save confusion. @Alex_Scope @Hannah_Scope @Tori_ScopeWhen requesting the MR it's better to send a letter rather than ring with your request because you don't know if the person you're speaking to is typing everything down.

Yes but because of the post office strike I phoned I have been waiting over a month foe a dwp letter. & I'm sorry I don't know how to post to everyone & don't know what the OP thread is0

That's okay @bcfc I've just merged the threads together for you
Let us know if we can help with anything else.
I'm sorry to hear you've been waiting so long for a letter, do you think you'd be able to contact them and chase it up?0 -
I have yesterday she said she would send another. I'll tell you all something though I would strongly advise everyone that has a telephone assessment to record it it would stop all these , i wont say lies but misunderstood answers thank you for your input & if I need advice I know where to come0

I don't think having it recorded would make any difference. Not only that you can't use any recording at a Tribunal unless it's prefessionally transcribed. Remember the assessment process is for them to gather more evidence to support your claim. They then write the report which is their opinion on everything you said in the form and what you said during your assessment. It's not for them to write down what you said verbatim, as a lot of people think.

I didn't know that but what's interesting is poppy is that according to them you have to try & explain day to day how it affects you so if they don't write down what you have tried to explain to them & they write what they want or think how can you win . Ok I'll give you another example I said on my questionnaire my son helps me in & out of the shower because I have a badly deformed arm & osteoarthritis in both knees & hips she never even asked about washing & bathing but said I shower everyday on my own so no problems there with a recording she would be left hig & dry if I didn't tell her I was recording it0

What you need to do now is move on from the assessment and the assessment report because that's all in the past. Concentrating on that will not get you a PIP award.
