Hi Guys I missed the deadline after my MR for PIP to get my standard mobility increased to enhanced. Does anyone know if it is still possible for me to challenge the decision?

You have 13 months to request the MR. As you're outside of the 1 month then you'll need to give a reason why you didn't request it within this time. If they refuse then you simply proceed to Tribunal.

Thank you for your response. How long does it take if I go down the Tribunal route?

Potentially several months, maybe longer. You must request the MR first and decisions for this can take anything up to 12 weeks.

Hello and welcome @SoJeannius, how are you today?

We wish you well with the outcome of your MR, and if you need any help with completing it, just give us a shout and we'll do our best to support you :)

Also, just for information - I've moved your thread to our PIP, DLA and AA category to help others find it.

    Take care and good luck.

    Hi Guys
Once again thank you for your replies. I'm a bit dim as I didn't explain myself well. I did the MR and they stood by their decision in giving me standard mobility, but I am not certain if there is a deadline to apply for the tribunal or is that part of the 13 months?

It's still 13 months from the date of the MR decision. Again, if you're outside of the 1 month you'll need to give a brief reason why you didn't request it within the first month. It's highly unlikely they will refuse a late appeal.
