I had my letter on my journal this morning saying my lwrca was awarded from 3rd of December 2022 can anyone tell me when my first payment would be I get universal credit 9th of every month they also back dated to the 3rd of December to 3rd of April even though my first sick note was handed in august 2022 and every month after with no gaps I’m confused as thought it would be from my first sick note

There's a 3 full month assessment period waiting time for the extra money and it's then paid from the 4th month after you sent your first fit note.

No, this year as in 9th Jan 2023. Why would you think it's next year? I did advise on your other thread that they owe you 4 months LCWRA element, which is up until April.

But I haven’t received any payment and they have only backdated it from December 22 to 3rd of April 23 ? Is that right or have they got it wrong

Yes from 3rd Dec to 3rd April, which is payment for Jan, Feb, March and April, 4 months. How can they backdate it but you've not received a payment?

Do you mean they've recalculated your statements and you've received a letter on your journal? If so once the money is paid then it takes 3-5 working days to go into your bank.

Yes that letter with the money they owe is correct.

That’s not what you said in your other thread. You said you sent your first fit note on 9th August. If the fit note was backdated then they don’t usually accept those.

Once payment is made it takes 3-5 days to go into your bank. They recalculated your statement very quickly. A lot of people are waiting several weeks for this to happen.
