Your first LCWRA payment will be either Dec or Jan. The exact date will depend on what date you usually receive your money each month, or what dates your monthly assessment periods cover.Any money owed will be paid separately to you usual monthly money and often takes quite a few weeks to pay what is owed.0

My assessment was done through paper assessment and they going from my first assessment appointment in December I get paid the 9th of every month0

This means your assessment periods (AP) are 3rd to 2nd of every month. You reported your fit note in the middle of your Aug/Sept, which doesn't count because it has to be a full month. Therefore your waiting period is Sept to Dec.. LCWRA starts from assessment period 3rd Dec to 2nd of Jan and first payment will be 9th Jan. They owe you 4th months, up until this month for the LCWRA element.Money owed is usually paid separately to your usual monthly money and often takes quite a few weeks to pay it.0

Hello @Amy1986 and a warm welcome to our online community, how are you keeping?
I just wanted to wish you well with your surgery, I'm sure you're in the best hands possible and I hope clarifying this about when your LCWRA payment should be received helps quell any worry you had.
I've moved your thread to our Universal Credit (UC) category and amended the title to help others spot your question more easily.
Again, wishing you all the best health-wise. Take care.0
