I got this message as I've asked for an MR on my PIP claim. They never rang but I also submitted a GP letter to them which the GP had asked them to kindly support me. Has anyone else had this message and got called or not called and what did it mean? Thank you

The text you received on Friday means exactly what it says, they want to speak to you. I can't tell you what it's related to though, i'm afraid. You can try ringing them tomorrow morning when they open at 9am.

I'm unsure what that access code message is about. Did you start a new claim while waiting for the MR decision?
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

My access code was me submitting my doctors letter as evidence to the same claim. Is this a good thing that they want to speak to me?

It doesn't mean anything other than they want to speak to you. Sometimes they will ring if they have any questions to ask.

Hi @natureang and a warm welcome, how are you today?

It's hard not knowing isn't it, and I wish we could tell you more. Try not to worry, hang fire and give them a ring tomorrow.

Just to note: I've moved your thread to our PIP, DLA and AA category to help others spot it and reply.

Wishing you all the best for a deserved outcome.

Do they ask again what you disagree with?  How detailed is the phone call? I've already told them what bits I disagree with

You won't need to tell them what you disagree with. No one can tell you what they will ask you because everyone's claim is different. They may only ask a question or two.

Now I have this and they've not rung me? I have another letter to submit too, what do I do?

Is the other letter you have relevant to your claim? Sending multiple letters all saying the same thing isn't helpful. The decision may have already been made anyway.

It's not about a diagnosis. However, if you can send it the same way you sent the other evidence last week then do that. It maybe too late now as the decision may have been made but you can still use it for the Tribunal (if you get that far)

I rang them and actually got through, they received the letters and have made a decision which will be processed overnight. It's now a waiting game :(

It takes up to 24 hours for the decision to show on the system.

They may tell you. Yes, usually payment arrives before the decision letter. Is the MR because you were refused?

Yes I got 0 points in all so asked for MR. They've seemed to have gone from 18th July to now since Dr's letter to make decision. Not sure if that's good or bad. Would they send a text to say awarded if successful or just wait for letter?

Sometimes they will send a text if there's an award but not always.

After a 7 days consideration text? Or is that a kind blow off to say we will write to explain why we've turned you down again?

Sorry but i don't know what you mean by this. Unless you're referring to the text you received today? If so then as i advised the decision has probably been made so you will receive the letter in the post.
