WhatThe said: Hi binbash,As I can't comment on the closed thread, let me confirm that you did mention a visual impairment at 4.24pm and the responses which followed must have been maddening!Let's hope Scope's review acknowledges this and that the posters apologise for adding to your distress.
Hello @WhatThe. I do understand your intent was to clear up a misunderstanding, but when discussions are paused it is done so everyone can cool off, so it is generally discouraged to continue it elsewhere. Thank you for bringing the post to everyone's attention.
@Binbash it is a shame disability Cambridgeshire aren't currently taking new clients. Have you tried advicelocal? If you put your postcode in it can show you other benefit support services in your area.
I'm not familiar with the BExBI/BEXBY report but I'm wondering if doing a subject access / GDPR request to the DWP would get you the information you require?
I'm sorry you felt that members were rude to you, it seems there was a few crossed wires. It isn't always easy to read intent or infer tone over written text but I don't think anyone intended to be rude. When conversations take place over multiple discussions it can be difficult to follow and to know what has or hasn't been read.
If you're able to answer @poppy123456's questions above we can hopefully offer more help. I've copied the questions below for ease:
Who are you currently living with? Are you receiving SDP now?
As mentioned, you won't be able to receive SDP for the period in which someone was claiming Carer's Allowance for you. Whether you were eligible the rest of the time will depend on your other circumstances at the time. Was there anyone else living with you? How old were your sons in 2012?

Hi @poppy123456, this can happen on occasion but doesn't appear to be the case with this particular post. However, I know in the past I've responded to a discussion and not noticed a new reply, especially if there are multiple from the same user. It's also really easy to miss a sentence or parts of a post, I know I do it all the time.
Moderator note:
I've made the decision to keep the other discussion closed as it's part of an older discussion and having two running will only further confuse things. Hopefully now everything has been cleared up this topic can continue in a constructive manner.
WhatThe said: Moderator, it's confusing because the discourse is here while the original thread remains closed
