Strangly, there was another member this morning that asked the same question. See thread here. https://forum.scope.org.uk/discussion/111143/pip#latest

I read that person comment but no 1 has said anything about a phone call asking for security questions for pip though.0

As I'm new to pip and had my assessment on 9th and 11 days later got a call asking me security questions and said they have made a decision I should get a letter in post ?...0
-
It's normal for them to ask security questions when they ring you because they need to make sure they are speaking to the correct person. What exactly did they want you for?

But all they asked was address, d.o.b, and what other benefits I'm on then told me I will receive a letter in post with decision. Number they called from was 08001214433...0

Then you will receive a letter in the post. It does seem rather odd that they asked which other benefits you're claiming because that irrelevant anyway. I'm sorry i can't help any further but hopefully you'll receive the decision soon.

@Lostsoul13 Keeping everything crossed for the outcome! Please keep us updated0

I've had DWP callers ask which other benefits I was claiming, it's just another security question, so nothing to worry about.
Fingers crossed for you @Lostsoul861 -
@Albus_Scope thanks! I completely overlooked that one. It's been a while since i've had any contact from them.
