They are not planning on scrapping it completely. What may happen is anyone's guess until any further announcements are made.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

Yes of course you will. There maybe some changes in the future but no one knows exactly what may happen. (if anything)

Just to add further Income Related ESA is ending anyway because Universal Credit has replaced it.

Unless you’re claiming Tax Credits you won’t be part of managed migration until at least 2028. Unless a change of circumstances prompts a move in the meantime.

The changes that MAY happen won't be until 2025 which will be after the election, my advice is never worry about what might happen in the future.
2024 The year of the general election...the time for change is coming 💡

That's correct, unless a change of circumstances prompts a move in the meantime. Contributions based ESA and New style ESA are not being scrapped. Those claiming the old contributions based will have their claim automatically transferred to New style.

Your question was answered on your other thread here https://forum.scope.org.uk/discussion/111405/will-i-still-get-esa-in-2024-or-be-axe#latest
As I advised on that thread it will continue, unless a change of circumstances prompts a move to UC in the meantime.
