My name is Julie, and I am new. I am so glad you all let me join Scope. I shall probably be needing some advice over claiming PIP. I applied last year and got turned down, which I got told I probably would. My health has worsened now, so I am going to try again and claim.
I look forward to reading posts and finding out info I need. 👋

No I havent yet as I have alot of things going on. I shall do though, when I have a moment. My son wants me to put in for PIP as he thinks I should of applied for it along time ago when I was first ill. My down fall was the assessment.

Was there any reason why you didn't challenge that decision? Reapplying using the same evidence you previously used could see another refusal.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

I never challenged my first refusal od PIP because mentally, I never had the strength. I just needed to let go.
My physical condition has worsened now, and when I feel strong and able to, I shall reapply.
