I have just joined this group as I have been having problems with my Quingo Vitess. It keeps stopping with spanner 5 showing. Fiddle with the freewheel release lever and it starts but problem keeps coming back. Has anyone else experienced this ?.

I think it is necessary to introduce rules for describing problems with Assistive Technology Device (ATD).

I would contact the manufacturers if it keeps on returning

I had this problem and found it's the leaver moving when you go over bumps.

I added a spring to keep it from moving forward

It did involve drilling 2 holes for the spring to go through.

Not had a Spanner 5 since.

Also loosened the leaver bolt a little bit as mine was quite tight.

This will also void any warranty

So take care with any modifications
