LCW to LCWRA
Hi, first time posting, essentially I'm wondering about that 3 month period before payments start, as I've just been moved from lcw to lcwra
The assessment was not initiated by sick notes, but by them requesting a reassessment, this was around January or Feb, can't recall. Would the start be when I sent this information? If so would that mean a backpayment?
I was awarded on the 20th this month, my assessment period is the 20th to 19th. So if it's from the award date, I'm guessing I'd get the first payment January? I'd also guess these next 3 months never get backpaid from what I've read?
Any advice appreciated, thanks

The waiting period doesn't apply when it's a review and you're moving from LCW to LCWRA. In this case it will be paid from the assessment period in which the decision was made. If the decision was made on 20th of September then your first payment will be for assessment period 20th Sept to 19th Oct and first payment being 26th October. No LCWRA element is owed.

It would have been for UC but the assessment process is the same. I have heard that there are long delays in some areas. Hopefully you'll hear something soon.

Ah thank you! Secret option number 3, no backdating and no delay.
And to Andi, yeah I believe it was all UC based, not ESA. I will say though they just sent me a text out of the blue saying the assessment was about a week later, no letter. That arrived after I'd already done it.
