Esa and savings

Hello all,
My nearest relative has a claim for ESA on my behalf. The claim is in my nearest relatives name on my behalf as I was deemed "unwell" at the time O. I am now wondering if the savings threshold OF "£6000 applies to my nearest relatives bank account or if the threshold will be judged according to my own savings OR indeed if it's both. Thanks for your help.

Hi welcome to the forum
I wasn't aware that a claim for yourself could be in another persons name.
